My work is all about the natural world and has been described as ‘Nature with Attitude' (which I rather like). Inspiration comes from my garden and the birds in it, my early morning walks with my dog Pearl, the 5 mile radius around my home in Keinton Mandeville and my trips to India, The Scilly Isles and Anglesey.
I came to live in Somerset after finishing an Honours BA in Fine Art at Bath Academy of Art, Corsham. I spent 10 years living in the suburbs of Paris before returning to Somerset where I have set up my studio and home in Keinton Mandeville.
For over 30 years I have earned my living with a paint brush! From portraits to trompe l’oeil, from murals to painted tapestries, commissions came from all over the world. For the past 8 years I have worked solely as an Artist/Printmaker, indulging my passion for etching and relief, lino and wood cuts, creating handmade limited edition prints.
My prints are sold in galleries throughout the UK and Europe. I exhibit regularly with The Society of Wildlife Artists and Originals, in London. I am a member of Makers in Taunton and The Devon Guild of Craftsmen. I have work in the collections of Lord Bath at Longleat, The British Embassy in Paris, The House of Lords Westminster and The Aberystwyth University Print Archives.

Last year I received a prize at Originals for my etching entitled ‘Spring Hare’ and this year I have won two awards, THE FENTON ARTS TRUST AWARD for technical excellence and THE RE AWARD from the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers. This means that I am now an Associate Member of the Society and can exhibit my work at The Bankside Gallery on the Embankment and in the Society's annual exhibition in May.

I have new prints inspired by my trip last year to India, primarily to draw elephants.
