I am passionate about making prints; I love the technical processes as much as the fine art. I am never happier than when whittling a plate to radio4, especially the ‘Archers’!

I studied fine art at Bath Academy of Art, Corsham and for over 30 years I have earned a living with a paint brush! From portraits to trompe l’oeil, from murals to painted tapestries, commissions have come from all over the world. I now focus on my work as an artist-printmaker, interpreting my observations of the environment around me and translating into print.

Inspiration is never far away; from taking my dog ‘Pearl’ for a morning walk to peering out of the window in my kitchen, from jaunts across the Somerset Levels to more exotic expeditions to wilder places!
I am always surveying and examining the natural milieu around me and collecting fragments of life forms on my travels. It is a constant journey; persistently scrutinising, learning, interpreting and then re-interpreting. A truly organic process.
